ROADSKILLS RACING TEAM
Roadskills Racing Team consists mainly of Mark and Joanne Phillips racing a Red ED Falcon. Our children Adam and Hayley join us at times when they can.
Racing started in the Falcon in 2017 with Gatton Street Sprints as our first race meeting. The Falcon started Yellow with a black bonnet but changed to Red at the beginning of 2018. 2017 was Joanne’s first year racing but it wasnt Mark’s first race year as he has a long history of racing.
Mark has been racing motorbikes since he was about 4 years old. He started riding dirt bikes then moving onto Speedway bikes. Riding for Australia on a number of occasions. The plan was to go to England but a bad crash stopped that plan quickly.
After this crash Road Racing caught his interest for a short time with various successes. Then Dirt Track Racing where he won Qld and Australian Titles. He rode Flat Track bikes and Sidecars before retiring from Motorbikes.
Mark’s first taste racing a car was a V8 VH Commodore Rally car which he did for a short time, loving every minute.
There are a couple of pictures below of some of the places we race. Roadskills Racing races both Bitumen and Dirt tracks. Mark and Jo love to go skidding and do that at Proston Khanacross and Willowbank Dirt Track. Morgan Park Raceway is a favourite track for bitumen, even though we dont get there often. The Noosa Hill Climb, Newcastle Hill Climb and Grafton Hill Climb just to name a few of the tracks we love to visit. When the borders allow us that is. Back to Home Page
